REMODELING
Each year, Bucks-Mont National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) awards contractors for their exemplary work in the previous year. Contractors may enter as many projects as they want into the COTY awards and can enter into a variety of catagories, depending on project type and cost. This was our first time entering this competition. We entered just 2 projects:
2010 NARI (COTY) AWARD WINNING KITCHEN $80,000 to $120,000 Range
When the customers bought their house, they loved everything about it but the kitchen. There was a very old, discolored floor, no cabinet space, and a total of 3 feet of counter space. The size of the kitchen was good, but with all the doors, windows, and open walls, they weren't sure how to fix their problem. Their new kitchen is now the center of their home. We designed and made a window seat that the children now use all the time as an art center and reading corner; it also has great storage underneath for toys. They eat in their kitchen at least two times a day. They love to entertain now and continually get comments on the fantastic design details added to the kitchen and tile.
2010 NARI (COTY) AWARD WINNING KITCHEN $40,000 to $80,000 Range
Our clients have lived in their town home for over 25 years while raising three children. The kitchen remodel was a big ticket item that always had to wait. Now, the kids are grown and the kitchen was really tired. They knew they wanted to do more than just replace what was already there. Everything was crammed together with no work space, an 18" dishwasher, and not enough outlets. Relocating the main appliances and moving the peninsula closer to the door allowed for a significant increase in space without adding a lot to the footprint.Kradzinski Remodeling won the COTY in both catagories.
